About: ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company is a joint venture between ICICI Bank and Prudential Corporation Holdings Limited and is also one of India’s premier fund houses.

The company offers various investment instruments as its product ranges like Mutual Funds, ETFs, AIFs and PMS services. The brand well established in other categories now wanted to promote their ETFs. 

ETFs are comparatively less sought-after investment options among Indians, though it is huge in the US and other Western countries. The brand believes that ETFs have a great potential to flourish in the Indian markets and they want to be the pioneers of ETF offering brands in India.

In simple words, ETFs are a child of Stocks and Mutual Funds. Just like Mutual Funds, when you buy an ETF you put your money in a basket of stocks and just like stocks, you can sell your ETFs anytime on the market.
